Just so you know…

It will be quite around here for the next few months. I might be sharing a few sessions here and there but I am going to be working on a few bigger projects and just really refocusing what this space (blog) and my business is all about. I look forward to sharing more with you all in a few months.

For now, I did start my own personal blog called Life with the Moodies. I will be updating that daily so you can jump over there and keep up with me if you want. I share all sorts of photos, recipes, diy, and other fun things daily.

See you later.

Christina

Christina Moodie Senior Model Program: Model Search

I am so excited to announce to you the project I have been working on so hard lately, the Christina Moodie 2013 Senior Model Program. I am seriously so excited to get started on this! This year I am holding a search for about 7-10 soon to be senior girls (class 2013) who would like to get their senior portraits done in a fun new way.

Here is a little more information on how the program works:

What: The Senior Model Program is a great way to get your senior portraits done, save some money, meet new friends, and have some fun! We will have chosen models meet up on a saturday in late April to early May and they will take part in a fun editorial type shoot. Each girl will get their hair and make-up done and we will have lots of girly fun. This shoot is at no cost to the chosen models.

When: The program, once accepted, runs from April-October. The big shoot will be held in late April or early May

The Benefits: Now here is the fun part! By being a Christina Moodie Senior Model you will receive all sorts of great benefits.

// Invitation to the exclusive editorial shoot

// 3 Facebook images to share

// Info cards with your image to share with friends

// 10% off on prints + products at the in person reveal

// Print credit for every referral that books a session

// Cash for the senior for every referral that books a session

Other fun things that you will get to be apart of include:

// A private Facebook group to hang out with other models, get updates, and other activities

// Giveaways

// End of the year Photobooth Party

and lots of other great surprises!

How to Apply: If this sounds interesting to you it is really easy to apply. All you have to do is click here. It will take you to the Christina Moodie Portraits Facebook page and application. Fill out the application and I will get back to each girl to let them know if they were chosen for this year. If you have any questions about the program please feel free to email me info [ at ] christinamoodie.com

Deadline: The Model search started today March 15th and ends on March 31st. It is best to get your application in as soon as possible!

If you know of any senior girls in the central Wisconsin area share this with them and encourage them to apply!

Blake: High School Senior Portraits

What universe are we in? My brother is a senior in high school this year! There is about a 5 year difference between us so I have always seen him as my little baby brother and this year it just really hit me how much he is growing up. He is going to be in college next year for goodness sake! I am really excited for him to start his new adventure at UW Stout in the fall. I think he will do great and hopefully he will come to visit us on the weekends. We were able to shoot his senior pictures a couple weeks before we took off from California. I am so happy to have been able to shoot this for him and I am also so happy with how they turned out!

Mom - Wow, that is a handsome dude! And the photographer must be really talented!

Goodbye California

Jayda is going to miss the sunshine, warm weather, and green grass because as you read this we are on our way back to Wisconsin! He are probably somewhere in Arizona. Barry and I were talking about the time we have spent here and it has been such an adventure for us and we have really learned so much from this experience! We are reluctant to leave but excited about the new chapter in life we are about to start.

Things I will miss about living in California:

+Our family out here!

+Our friends and bible study group

+sun shine 364 days a year (well not that much but close!)

+orange trees outside our front door

+Trader Joe’s (of course)

Things I am super excited about in Wisconsin:

+being with our family! (the other side)

+having our own beautiful place

+our friends we have missed so much

+our church that we have missed so much

+the change in seasons (note I did not say snowstorms. Let’s not go too far…)

+new projects I can’t talk much about yet

If you are a pervious client or want to be a new one in Wisconsin please contact if you are interested in getting family photos or senior photos done. I am going to be available to start taking clients March 19th!

Monthly Snapshots: February

It has been a great last month here in California. We did a lot of hiking so we could take advantage of the beautiful weather and views while we were still here. I had fun at meredith’s made by mere party this month. We helped my grandpa one saturday dig up his grass to replace it with wood chips. That was an adventure of a project that still is yet to be complete but it is sure looking good. Spent a lot of time with family here. My mom and brother came to visit one weekend and we played games. Last weekend we joined the other side of the family up in Big Bear for the weekend! We have been busy busy busy but it has been great.
